| Answer : Dear Mr Augustine,, Thank you for you e mail. If you are planning to come to the UK on a student visa you will need to obtain an entry clearance under the Tier 4 student category. Please note that students are no longer entitled for settlement in the United Kingdom. I hope as a nurse you are trying to get an employment and settle here. If that is the case , you will need a Job offer from a UK based employer to qualify for a Tier 2 general visa under new the point based system. The points are normally claimed on the basis of the candidate’s age, qualification, earnings, English proficiency etc. Make a note that you will also require a minimum score of 7 for IELTS in order to register as nurse in the UK.
