Respected SIR,

I came into this country as a student on 5th November 2001 and completed MBA and pursuing Phd, which may finish by July 2012. is it possible for me to get a PR in this country after completion of 10 Years. As i heard student cannot apply for PR as per the new law, is it true?. Please advise.

Dear Lathika,
I am afraid the new Tier 4 Student Visa does not constitute a route to settlement or indefinite leave to remain.
