| Question: Respected SIR, Iam an RGN working in a Nursing Home. My contract Hrs. is 48 Hrs. per week But due to shortage of staff I am compelled to work 60 Hrs. I am also doing Bank duty in another Nursing home for more than 10 Hrs, means less than 20 Hrs. I would like to know that If I WILL APPLY FOR P.R WHETHER IT WILL AFFECT MY P.R OR NOT? Yours Faithfully, Raji Soman |
| Answer : Dear Raji, Thank you for you e mail. You have no such restriction whatsoever to work for your main employer as long as you are holding a valid work permit. According to the immigration rules you are also allowed to work up to 20 hours under a different employer. I therefore do not foresee any problem with your current working arrangement as it does not affect your eligibility to apply for PR.. Regards, Sajeev Kooran |
